Project Scarab started life as a stock 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP. After some basic upgrades (wheels & tires, suspension and window tint) owner Josh Guzzetti started getting bored.
 
Enter SMG Motoring. Scarab came to us in desperate need of engine tuning, and tuning we gave it, picking up a few ponies (37 RWHP) with a completely stock engine, turbo and exhaust.
 
Josh has a very clear view on where Scarab will be heading, so check back often to see updated pictures. On Josh’s current list are: a SSBC Big Brake kit, turbo upgrade, vertical doors, custom 3 inch exhaust and MORE!
 
BIG BRAKE KIT
 
SSBC 13 inch Big Brake Kit, with polished calipers. For some added protection and detail, we went ahead and powder coated all the rotors, caliper stanchions, misc hardware as well as applying clear coat treatment to the polished calipers for durability and ease of maintenance.
